Brief: to make a work using locally available materials in the grounds and surrounding forests of Dragsholm Castle. The work was to last for one season. All the work was documented with drawings, plans and photographs which formed an exhibition at Odsherred Kuntsmuseum.
The work was a woven cone of sticks around a tall straight sycamore tree, reaching a height of 13 metres at the point of the first branch. The base was 4m in diameter. A mixture of wild cherry, sycamore and hazel was used. The spiralling horizontal sticks were left with bark on whilst the crossing uprights were stripped of bark. The work was made standing on the ground and pulling the structure up by rope as it grew in size. The ground cover in May was a dense sea of white garlic flowers.
